Pre-Monsoon Cleaning Drive and Tree Plantation
A Pre-Monsoon Cleaning Drive and Tree Plantation Programme was organized under the leadership of Vettikkavala Block Panchayat. The initiative focused on cleaning public spaces, roadsides, drains, and canals to ensure the smooth flow of rainwater and to prevent the spread of communicable diseases during the monsoon season. As part of the programme, tree saplings were also planted at various locations to promote environmental conservation and enhance green cover.
The programme was inaugurated by Smt. Bindu Lakshmi, President, Vettikkavala Block Panchayat. The event witnessed the active participation of elected representatives, officials, Haritha Karma Sena members, volunteers, and members of the public, reflecting a collective commitment towards building a cleaner, healthier, and greener community
