Anti-Drug Awareness Activity – Report
As part of organizing strong awareness and prevention activities against the increasing use of drugs in the society, an anti-drug operation was organized under the leadership of Vettikkavala Block Panchayat under the name of "Operation Toofan".
The main objectives of the activity are to protect youth and students from the dangers of drug use, to create awareness among the public about the ill effects of drug use, and to strengthen anti-drug social cohesion.
As the use of intoxicants seriously affects the health, family life and social security of the individual, activities were given importance to convey the anti-drug message to all sections of the society.
Various awareness activities were organized with the participation of Block Panchayat representatives, employees, representatives of various local self-government bodies, students, youth and volunteers.
Along with instilling vigilance in individuals against drug addiction, the importance of seeking help from related systems in situations where drug use is noticed was also highlighted through awareness.
Upholding the message of "Say No to Addiction, Let's Join Hands for a Healthy Society", it was decided to ensure public participation in anti-drug activities and strengthen follow-up activities.
Operation Toofan Vettikkavala Block Panchayat-led anti-drug social interventions became an activity that gave more energy.
